As an Associate for the Ultra-Poor Graduation Initiative, Maleeha supports the technical assistance team through knowledge management, business development, technical support, and administration. She currently supports a contract with the Government of the Philippines as well as other short-term contracts, and has previously provided administrative support to a contract with the Government of Zambia.
Prior to joining BRAC UPGI, Maleeha interned at the Council on Foreign Relations where she researched women’s participation in foreign peace processes and international sexual and reproductive laws. She also interned at various organizations in the DC area, including the Human Rights Campaign, Search for Common Ground, and EMILY’s List. Maleeha graduated with two bachelor’s degrees in Public Policy and in International Affairs, and a minor in International Development and Conflict Management from the University of Maryland.
