Faria is the Senior Associate, Corporate and Foundation Partnerships at BRAC USA. She assists in researching donor prospects for BRAC’s international education programs, coordinating the management of current grants, and supporting winning proposals to expand the education portfolio. In between college and graduate school, Faria worked at the Civilian Complaint Review Board, the New York City government agency tasked with investigating cases of police misconduct. She also completed several internships during which she learned about education initiatives and the rights of young people, including at Save the Children, where she gained experience in humanitarian advocacy. Faria earned her master’s degree in International Affairs with a concentration in Human Rights and Humanitarian Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Sociology from The City College of New York.
